Venice Tips

Wear comfortable shoes: Many canals and bridges are what makes Venice an amazing place to visit. However, it also makes it difficult for public transportation or cars to move around. To enjoy most of Venice our warm recommendation is to feel comfortable.

Vaporetto: the public transportation in Venice is organized by boats. In most cases it is not necessary since Venice is very walkable, however you can always decide to take one to visit some of the nearby islands.

Ponte di Rialto - for an authentic twist you can also poke around in the nearby open air market
Scuola Grande di San Rocco - a collection of the most famous venetian painters
Punta della dogana - probably the best view of Venice, in a less crowded neighborhood
